Description

The trail head begins at the Community Garden and is located at the end of the parking area to the right of the red garden shed. The quarter mile stroll follows a cut path through a hay field. The hay in this field is harvested late in the season to protect ground nesting birds. The path ascends a modest hill and at the height of the land a kiosk with a map is located on the right. The path descends along a stone wall at the edge of a hay field to a viewing platform with bench seating. The platform overlooks a beaver pond.
