From Cini Memorial Park, follow the paved boardwalk path over a native dune ecosystem. This part of the walk offers a view of the Long Island Sound over Niantic Bay Beach. The boardwalk then travels along the water and ends on the western side at Hole-in-the-Wall Beach. The boardwalk itself is open 24/7, fee-free, and is fully accessible. Cini Memorial Park features include swimming and fishing access (see fee information below), a handicap accessible fishing pier, restrooms, outdoor showers, a picnic area, and a canoe/kayak launch dock. At Hole-in-the-Wall Beach, there is swimming (see fee information below), restroom access, outdoor shower, bicycle repair stand, and access to McCook Point Park, which has additional paths of crushed stone.
To access the mile-long boardwalk path, free parking is available year-round at Cini Memorial Park on the eastern end and Hole-in-the-Wall Beach on the western end.
