The trail system travels across two parcels: one owned by the Town of Wilton, protected by a Wilton Land Trust easement, and another owned by the Wilton Land Trust. Combined, the two properties offer a gentle walk with peaceful wood land views, stream side walking and in the springtime, the opportunity to observe a vernal pool. There is access to and from the Norwalk River Valley Trail just south of Raymond Lane.
