Friedman Memorial Forest is a network of trails in Ashford. The main loop, the yellow trail, is 1.6 miles long and features gradual elevation changes with a few steeper sections throughout. The main loop also features a pathway alongside a local lake that allows for excellent scenic views.
The Hyde Loop Trail, blazed blue, is about 0.9 miles long and runs directly beside Bebbington Brook before leading back to the main yellow trail just before the lake view.
A third trail, Pinkham Trail, blazed pink, is about a half mile and leads off of the property to Colts Pond Road. A longer walk could be had by following Colts Pond Road to the parking lot on Bebbington Lane.
The Friedman Memorial Forest also features several bridge crossings running over small streams or wetlands, many of which are constructed wood walkways except for one natural rock crossing.
