This short and sweet trail winds through a mature forest with an open understory, making it an easy and enjoyable walk for all. The trail features a lollipop design, with a single path leading to a loop before returning to the starting point. The entrance and exit share the same location, making it easy to navigate and enjoy!
Access to the trail entrance is directly from Westway Road. There is room for parking on the grassy area in front of the trail head sign.
From I-95, take Exit 19 and head south on Center Street (toward Southport). After the rail road underpass, turn right onto Pequot Avenue and take another right onto Westway Road. Cross the railroad again, and cross under I-95, then turn left to stay on Westway Road. Look for the trailhead sign on the right.
