Description

Windsor Meadows State Park's trails and facilities are located in its largest and most popular 88-acre south section. This section hosts the Bissell Bridge Boat Launch, fishing and picnicking access, and ADA-accessible trails along the Connecticut River.

The Bissell Bridge Trail connects users to the Captain John Bissell Trail (which can be followed all the way to the Charter Oak Greenway in East Hartford and to the East Coast Greenway beyond!). The Windsor River Trail also begins from the parking area and continues south through quiet riparian forest.
