Bolton Notch State Park provides a variety of activities. There are five trails in this part of the park, from easy to moderate level. The park features natural rock formations that line the trails, giving them a fairy-tale-like feel in warm and cold seasons. The "notch" provides a panoramic view of the forest and sky on sunny days. There is a great sightseeing spot at the end of Garnet trail that oversees the park. This park also offers areas for rocking climbing. Further, the park has a car-top boating boat launch at the park gate entrance.
Park closes at sunset
