Description

There are five trails in this part of the park, from easy to moderate level. Some of the trails include the Mohegan and Shenipsit Trails. The park features natural rock formations that line the trails. The "notch" provides a panoramic view of the forest.

There is a great sightseeing spot at the end of Garnet Trail that oversees the park. This park also offers areas for rock climbing. Further, the park has a car-top boating boat launch at the park gate entrance.

junction of Route 44 and Route 6 in Bolton

Heading west on I-384 from Bolton Notch, turn right at end of guardrail and go downhill to parking lot. Hiking trail is unmarked; trail starts just across from the parking lot.
