Description

The red-and-blue blazed Tulip Tree Trail is made up of two loops connecting directly to Valley Falls Park Trails.

The length of the Tulip Tree Trail alone is around 1.3 miles. The east end of the trail ends close to Bolton Rd but there is no parking provided. Parking is available at Valley Falls Park (see Directions), and the total length from the parking, through the Tulip Tree loops, and back, is 3 miles.

The pond near the east end of the trail is a 'kettle hole' and a vernal pool. The west end of the trail travels through wetlands and tall Yellow Poplar trees, often called Tulip trees because of their tulip-shaped flowers.
